Brandywine Daylily Garden

'Russian Hookers & Cheap Gin' 2014
I fell in love with this beautiful diploid last year when I saw it in flower in our beds. It wasn't a large flower but it stood out and caught my eye. The blue-lavendar stand ot against the off, red-hued like cream color the petals take. The flowers are larger this year, close to 5 inches or more! I had to find a name for it and release it.
It received he current name not long after. I wanted it to have a unique but catchy name. Something no one else had used. I do believe 'Russian Hookers and Cheap Gin' fits that perfectly! It is by far the most unique named daylily we have.
